Due to significant growth in our business we are now seeking to hire a number of staff on fixed term contracts (both full-time and part-time hours available) to provide support and additional capacity to our existing Safer Schools team.
Embedded in our Safer Schools Team you will be responsible for supporting our work on-boarding new schools, assisting in the development of content for our Safer Schools App and informing the creation of additional safeguarding resources. Our content, classroom based resources and lesson plans are tailored to meet the needs of teachers, parents, carers and young people.
This is a great opportunity for those with a safeguarding and educational or teaching (including newly qualified) background to develop their experience in this contemporary and specialist safeguarding area. The INEQE Safeguarding Group is the largest company of its kind specialising in safeguarding children and vulnerable adults in the context of their access to technology and use of social media.
You will need to be a self-motivated team player with stacks of enthusiasm and a genuine passion for what we do; help make people safer. You will be required to complete tasks to a strict timescale, ensuring all content is developed to a high standard.
Responsibilities will include
・Working with the Safer Schools team on the onboarding (schools) process.
・Performance of all general administrative tasks as appropriate.
・Researching relevant content for the Safer Schools App.
・Dependent upon experience, advising on best practice teaching resources.
・Assisting in the development of classroom-based resources for Safer Schools partners.
・Collaborating with our in-house Safety & Content team,.
・Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and data protection.
・You care about making people safer.
・Experience writing educational material and resources.
・Be able to work under pressure.
・A self-motivated team player but happy to work on your own initiative.
・A good attention to detail.
・Teaching background and or safeguarding experience.
・Experience working with young people.
・A good understanding of Social Media platforms.
・An interest in developing an in-depth knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding in the context of the digital world.
The role may involve evening and weekend working, and travel within the United Kingdom. Candidates must be willing to undertake changes to the working day as is required.
