Salary: £20,000 to £25,000 Pro-Rata (Negotiable salary depending on skills and experience)

Line Manager: Training and Content Team Leader

Due to growth within our business we are now seeking to hire a Training Co-ordinator on a fixed term or permanent contract.

Embedded into our Training and Content team, you will be responsible for the co-ordination and administration of our training courses delivered in person, virtually and through our E-learning portals. This includes successfully assisting delegates and facilitators in the organisation and delivery of course materials. You will achieve further success by ensuring training queries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner. Whether it be over phone, email, video call, or inbound website you will engage potential new, and existing training clients in a warm and professional manner.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with training venues and hotels to confirm and cancel events.
  • Organising accommodation and any other requests as required.
  • Scheduling and updates of our online training events.
  • Ordering training materials and printing in-house when necessary.
  • Working together with our business manager you will take the lead to administer all aspects of our training provision; ensure payments are received for each booking prior to each course, and order training materials as and when needed.

  • Responding to customer enquiries over the telephone, by email and over webchat.
  • Producing website content such as course descriptions and FAQs.
  • Attending training courses and events to gain a better understanding of our products and customer requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate and well-presented marketing literature and training materials, including course PowerPoint presentations.
  • Liaising with our marketing, service and content teams to ensure best outcomes.
  • Reviewing and responding to feedback from delegates and facilitators.
  • The effective prioritisation and organisation of work.
  • Maintenance of digital filing systems and performance of all general administrative tasks as appropriate.
  • Carry out any other duties required by the Head of Service and Safer Schools and / or the Directors.

Essential Criteria

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to effectively plan and meet deadlines.
  • A minimum of two years relevant experience.
  • Be able to work and thrive under pressure.
  • A critical thinker and problem solver.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and training needs.
  • Experience of building and maintaining mutual relationships with customers.
  • Strong computer skills (The company primarily uses Mac hardware and the Microsoft 365 suite).
  • To be able to work at minimum across 4 working days.
  • A high attention to detail.
  • You care about making people safer.

Desirable Criteria

  • Background in training and development
  • 3 years experience in an administration role.
  • Experience of successfully co-ordinating online and face to face training.
  • Safeguarding experience in a paid or voluntary capacity e.g., in a charity, education or youthwork environment.

8 hours per day (a working day is 9.00am-5.00pm or other mutual arrangement – there will also be, on occasion, some additional hours including post 5pm and weekend duties to be agreed as required).
