Line Manager: Head of Creative Visual Design

Salary: £18,000 – £22,000

Full Time Hours: 40 per week

Due to growth and demand expected within our business we are now seeking to hire a Creative Designer.

The successful candidate will be creatively passionate, adaptable and thrives under pressure. We’re looking for someone who is a lifelong learner, with their finger on the pulse of what is contemporary in the world of content creation.

Responsibilities will include

  • You will be responsible for creating beautiful, engaging, and appropriate illustrations and infographics for high quality content.

  • Leading the development of printed and digital content from concept to completion, beginning with a brief, sketches and storyboards, and ending with a finished digital piece of art.

  • Collaborate with our internal Creative Designers, Research & Content team and Training Team on the production of content.

  • Adapting design and concepts to match both internal brand guidelines and those of our clients.

  • Ensuring that a high quality of creative work is upheld, maintaining consistently high standards with a sharp eye for detail.

  • Maintaining the creative asset library. Working with key individuals on the production of our new series of Podcasts.

  • Filming and editing video and audio content for both client-based and internal projects including green-screen footage, event recording, podcasts, interviews and scripted scenarios.

  • Technical support for live streaming of content such as our online training webinars, including set up, lighting etc.

  • Travel may be required in the future.

  • Any other duties required by the Directors and the Head of Creative Visual Design.

Essential Criteria Requirements

  • One year’s industry experience.

  • A working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite including: Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Audition.

  • Excellent writing skills, with a keen eye for detail and an understanding of digital media.

  • Exceptional project management skills and the ability to work under pressure.

  • Ability to prioritise and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to adapt your skills and approach to a broad range of project types.

  • Keen to work as part of a team.

  • Access NI clearance (this will be provided by INEQE Safeguarding Group).

Desirable Requirements

  • Third Level Qualification in a related subject such as: Graphic Design and Illustration, Interactive Media, Interaction Design etc.

  • Website experience including editing and management.

  • Design knowledge of HTML and CSS.

  • Proven experience working with animation and/or UI/UX.
  • Knowledge of audio-visual working practices and terminology including, but not limited to, correct exposure using ISO, shutter speed, aperture; white balance, focus, use of lightning; scanning methods (progressive/interlaced); framing/composition; and audio gain staging.

  • Content creation for social media channels including but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube.

  • Experience working with video content and production.

  • A full driving licence.

Salary

Pay: Up to £22,000 (pro rata) Dependent upon skills and experience.
