With the expansion of our educational resources, we are now seeking to hire a Multimedia Content Creator.

This is a great opportunity for those with audio, video and motion experience to develop their experience in a multi-disciplinary creative environment.

Embedded in our Content and Creative Visual Design team, you’ll be the driving force behind creating engaging video content for a variety of platforms, including social media, training webinars, and our cutting-edge web app. If you have a knack for visual storytelling, a passion for creating dynamic content, and a strong understanding of motion graphics, we want to hear from you!

You will bring your skill and experience to a company with one clear ethos: making people safer. Working on everything from accessible interactive video-based web courses to engaging short-form videos that share our live events with our audiences.

You will need to be a self-motivated team player with stacks of enthusiasm and a genuine passion for what we do. You will be required to take the lead of projects of work and complete tasks to a high standard, delivering on strict timescales while ensuring creative content is age appropriate, contemporary, credible, and relevant.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Your main duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Confidently operate cameras and audio equipment in both studio and on-location environments.
  • Take ownership of the entire video editing process, from initial concept to final product.
  • Capture high-quality photos and videos of training sessions and other events.
  • Support key internal team members to set up and record live and pre-recorded interviews.
  • Communicate with internal teams on the dissemination of content to multiple outputs including our websites and native apps.
  • Lead the maintenance of our Safety Centre instructional videos.
  • Oversee all aspects of podcast production, from recording to editing.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, timescales, and deadlines.
  • The effective prioritisation and organisation of work.
  • Maintenance of digital filing systems and performance of all general administrative tasks as appropriate.
  • Any other duties assigned by the Directors and the Head of Content and Creative Visual Design, which may evolve with the needs of the organisation.

Essential Criteria

  • 2 year’s industry experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in creating and editing video content, ideally within a similar role. This should include experience with filming, editing, and post-production.
  • A high level of skill in using video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro), cameras, and audio equipment.
  • A strong understanding of visual storytelling techniques and the ability to create engaging and informative video content.
  • A genuine commitment to child safety and a passion for creating educational resources that promote online safety.
  • Ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with different digital media formats and their application in educational contexts.
  • A high attention to detail.
  • Excellent computer skills (The company primarily uses Mac hardware and the Microsoft 365 suite).
  • A genuine commitment to child safety and a passion for creating educational resources that promote online safety.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience creating motion graphics and animation.
  • Experience creating content for Social Media channels.
  • Graphic design experience such as social media graphics, website and document design.
  • Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).

  • Knowledge and experience in producing podcasts.
  • A degree or diploma in film production, media studies, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with creating online learning materials and interactive video content.
  • A contemporary understanding of safeguarding in the context of the digital world.

Place of work

This is an office-based role at INEQE Safeguarding Group, Ocean House, 13 Edgewater Road Belfast, BT3 9JQ.

Hours of work

Normal working for full time staff is 8 hours per day (a working day is 9.00am-5.00pm or other mutual arrangement – there will also be, on occasion, some additional hours including post 5pm and weekend duties as required).
