Salary: £20,000 to £24,500 depending on skills and experience.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Working closely with our in-house designers, digital curators, and development team to build and maintain multi-platform products.
  • Managing and maintaining our range of Apps, CMS (Content Management Systems) including WordPress and our LMS (Learning Management Systems) including Moodle.
  • Adapting designs to match both internal brand guidelines and those of our clients.
  • Testing our Web and Native products.
  • Ensuring that a high quality of creative work is upheld, maintaining consistently high standards with a sharp eye for detail.
  • Travel may be required in the future.
  • Any other duties required by the Directors and the Head of Creative Visual Design.

 

Essential Requirements

  • One year’s industry experience.
  • Designing contemporary, responsive websites from scratch.
  • Experience building websites using HTML and CSS.
  • Experience with template-based CMS, specifically WordPress.
  • An understanding of interface design.
  • An Undergraduate degree in a related field such as Interactive Media, Interaction Design or Software Development.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to prioritise and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt your skills and approach to a broad range of project types.
  • Keen to work as part of a team.
  • Access NI clearance (this will be provided by INEQE Safeguarding Group).

 

Desirable Requirements

  • An understanding of SEO Integration.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite software such as Photoshop and XD.
  • Basic understanding of JSON and HTML language/data types.
  • Experience using collaborative software such as Zeplin.io.
  • Excel spreadsheet knowledge.
  • Knowledge of tools such as JSON Lint or VS Code.
  • Knowledge and understanding of git.
  • Ability to upload files via either FTP or Azure.
  • A full driving licence.

Hours of Work

8 hours per day (a working day is 9.00am-5.00pm or other mutual arrangement – there will also be, on occasion, some additional hours including post 5pm and weekend duties to be agreed as required).
