Safeguarding in a Digital World

This session aims to keep participants updated on current themes, trends, best practices and potential risks relating to safeguarding. Focusing on children and young people’s online lives, popular gaming and social media platforms are discussed. The session aims to equip participants with effective responses, reporting pathways, and help identify available support.

Learning Objectives

  • To understand safeguarding in the context of young people’s lives and their use of social media.
  • To gain insight into evolving social media trends, risks, and best practices for safeguarding.
  • To develop an enhanced awareness of offender behaviour, tactics, and technology used.

All training courses are CPD certified and delegates will receive a certificate and debrief document upon completion.
