These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of our websites located at ineqe.com and our Safer Schools websites (oursaferschools.co.uk) together with our mobile applications (the “App”), and our learning services accessible via the Site and App (‘other associated services’.) Our Privacy Policy should be read in conjunction with these Terms.

By using these Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don’t agree with these Terms, you will not be granted permission to use the Services.

We reserve the right to change these terms at any time and will notify you of these changes by posting the updated Terms on the Site to the app. We may also communicate changes by other means available to us.

It is important that you review the Terms whenever we update them, or when you use the Services. By continuing to use the services after changes take effect, you indicate that you accept these changes. If you don’t agree to be bound by the changes, you must not use the Services anymore. We also reserve the right to change or discontinue all or any part of the Services, at any time and without notice, at our sole discretion.

Our ‘Data Lite’ approach means that we keep information collection and data processing to a minimum. We only collect and process in-app data when essential to operate core features of the app and all associated services needed to deliver our contractual obligations.

Our app and all associated services are designed for use by a range of adult roles, which may require a login account.

Anyone under 18 years must only use the pupil’s version of our apps. This does not require users to share any personal data as use is managed by the provision opf a PIN or QR code, which will be supplied by your school.

Use of these services is not subject to automated processing or decision making of any kind.

By using the app and using all associated services, you agree that:

• You will only use the app and associated services for lawful purposes, in line with applicable laws and local policies.
• You will not misuse the communication functions to share, transmit or otherwise broadcast illegal,  harmful or sensitive content.
• You agree not to remove, alter, or obscure any trademark, copyright, logo, or other proprietary conventions found across the app and associated services.
• You will not facilitate or allow unauthorised public access to non-registered third parties.

You will not upload, transmit or download any content that:

• Is false, criminal, fraudulent, proprietary, deceptive or otherwise privileged.
• Is illegal or promotes violence, acts of terrorism or child abuse.
• Includes offensive, immoral, pornographic, or obscene materials.
• Promotes illegal substances, harmful practices, products, weapons, or other activities and behaviours.
• Promotes hatred, discrimination, or marginalisation of any individual or group.
• Promotes disinformation, false and damaging information.
• Violates or jeopardises the integrity or security of your account or the service.

You also agree that you will not:

• Interfere or attempt to alter networks, servers, software, user accounts, data security or hosting information.
• Void, exploit, or bypass any safety or security mechanisms used by the app and all associated services to protect users and the public.
• Use the app and associated services to upload, share or transmit any unsolicited promotional materials without express consent.
• Interfere in any other way by scanning, downloading, or tampering with any part of any non-public parts of the app and associated services.
• Deploy any virus, DDOS (overloading), flooding, spamming or automated attacks against the app and associated services.

Your account is provided by us solely for your personal use. You must not grant access to the public or any other individual without our express written permission. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts of any user(s) who engage in any violations of these terms, local policies, or applicable laws.

Distinction of Roles

We understand and encourage the transparent use of our apps and associated services by adults. By using the apps and all other associated services you agree that you will only access your designated role.

Creating an Adult Account

Only those designated as ‘adult users’ (i.e. 18 years or above) are permitted to use and access parent/guardian, staff roles within the app and associated services. Users must not provide false information or create an account using someone else’s name without express permission from them.

Staff Accounts

Only staff are permitted to use and access the staff roles within the app and associate services. Users must not provide false information or create an account using someone else’s name without express permission from them.

INEQE Group Ltd retain all intellectual property rights.

The app and all associate services may signpost to external third-party providers, organisations, resources, and links. We provide this access to support users to use the app and all associated services effectively. While we vet third party organisations and content, we are not responsible for any changes or liabilities from the content of these parties. You accept all risks of accessing third party links, resources, and links on this basis.

We provide the app and all other associated services with a reasonable level of skill, care, and professionalism. Due to the digital nature of our services, there are certain things that we cannot promise.

You are reminded of the following:

• Any material downloaded or obtained across the app and all other services is done at the users’ own discretion and risk.

• You are responsible for any damage to computer systems, networks, or loss of data from accessing or downloading any material.
