Safeguarding Adults

Overview

As our understanding of the factors that place adults at risk continues to develop, so too must our approach to safeguarding. Safeguarding is not just about identifying harm, but about creating environments where individuals feel respected, safe, and supported.

This course is designed for professionals working in health, social care, education, and community settings to provide them with a clear and accessible overview of adult safeguarding responsibilities.

Participants will explore the key principles of safeguarding, types of abuse and neglect, and how to respond effectively when concerns arise. Through interactive case studies, current legislation, and practical tools, attendees will gain the confidence to make informed decisions and contribute to a culture of safety and dignity for all adults.
