As AI becomes an increasingly visible part of learning, digital culture, and everyday life, schools must balance its potential benefits with safeguarding, ethical, and data protection responsibilities.

This course introduces educators to the responsible and effective use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in schools.

Participants will explore what AI is, how it has evolved, and how children and young people are already engaging with it through learning, social media, and information consumption.

The session examines the impact of AI on learning, highlights the risks of not adapting to or understanding its use, and provides practical examples of how AI can support teaching, assessment, planning, and workload efficiency.
