After more than a year of increased online risk for children and Ofsted’s review of sexual abuse in schools and colleges across the country, the Department of Education has published a new “strengthened” version of its, Keeping Children Safe in Education statutory guidance.
In this article we’re bringing you a non-exhaustive list of the top-level changes to the guidance. You can access the guidance in full at the end.
The KCSIE guidance now includes more detailed advice on supporting children and young people who are victims of sexual violence, harassment, and peer-on-peer abuse (both in-person and online).
